The Spanish mobile home to nearly two and a half years

Two years and five months. That’s what holds half a mobile phone in the hands of Spanish. Well, one Spanish, as in the case of men the average is a month higher, reaching to just two and half years. These are some of the data emerging from a recent study by TNS, which evaluates the “life expectancy” of mobile phones in thirty different countries.

The average of all the countries surveyed is 33 months, ie two years and nine months. Does this mean that the Spanish are more neglected and damaged mobile us before? Or do we just like to change mobile more often than usual? For in this greatly influence those offered by operators with which the mobile leaves us free to sign a permanent contract, for while the overall percentage of users who rely on this formula is 8%, Spain up to 22 %.

If the operator also come into play mobile company or gifts from friends and famliares, the Spanish average stands at 42%, again exceeding the overall average is 22%. In any case, the study shows that it is common to perform some type of payment by the terminal. But while the average of all the countries surveyed is 78% in Spain to 58% lower.

As reflected in the chart above, users of older mobile preserved longer and think less of replacement. Between 41 and 60 years half-life of the mobile is close to three years and only 40% of users consider replacing over the next 18 months. In contrast, between 16 and 21 years each phone takes about 26 months and the percentage of users who think change comes eighteen months before to 46%.
